Jackie had barely an octave for a range when she started, but consistent hard work through weekly lessons for over a year awarded her with an increased range of almost 4 octaves. Having such a unique sound at her age, we really wanted to strengthen her low notes so that her storytelling skills through song would always be heard. Last but not least, Jackie managed to conquer her stage fright during the showcase prep period! |
"I’d just like to say that being in the RG Student Showcase (Live!), was an over all great experience. From the very first day (which was hard for me in particular), to the actual performance, everyone from the band, to the teachers and other students have been so supportive. To tell the truth, I really wasn’t sure I wanted to do it, but now I’m so glad I did (and would even do it again!) So, thanks a million to all the people who made it possible. I had a great time doing it!"
