Peyton Herzog, 8
Peyton came into the studio at the tender age of 7, equipped with determination and passion for singing. He had no top range and was a little shaky with his pitches. Not only has his range increased considerably, but he is now able to sing with no breaks in his voice. Through hard work and consistency Peyton achieved his goal, to perform "live" in the 2010 RGVS Showcase! |
"I loved being part of the showcase. When I found out I was selected I was very excited that I was going to get to perform on stage live with a band. The workshops were a lot of fun and I learned a lot about working with a band. Izetta helped me get comfortable singing a pop song. I am use to singing musical theater songs so this was new for me. I practiced everyday to prepare for the showcase. When Rocio first asked me if I wanted to go first I said sure I am up for it. Right before the performance I was nervous, excited and happy. As soon as the band started playing I just had fun. After it was over I wanted to get up and do it again. Thank you to all the vocal teachers and the band for teaching me so much. I hope I can do it again soon."
