Summer Series - July 20 through August 23, 2009
- Over the course of 4 weeks, you will fine tune a song to get it ready for performance. In addition to four private 40 minute lessons, you will be participating in four 2-hour workshops that will cover stage performance aspects, working with a live band, performance feedback and band rehearsal. If you're used to singing to backing tracks but would like to know what it's like to do everything live, this is the perfect series for you. You've been taking lessons for a while, now it's time to get up in front of an audience and do your thang! You will perform your song with a live, professional trio of keyboards, bass and drums on Sunday, August 23 at the Mission City Roasting Co.
- Private 40 min. lessons every Tuesday (July 21, 28, August 4, 11), with specific lesson times scheduled individually for each participant.
- Group workshops every Saturday (July 25, August 1, 8, 15) from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
- Max. 10 participants
- Cost: $600
Course #2: Musical Theatre Series with Izetta Fang (teenagers & adults)
- Over the course of 5 weeks, in a group lesson setting, you will learn everything you need to know about song selection that shows you at your best for an audition, presentational aspects (dress, hair, make-up), singing with a live pianist, acting within the ensemble and with partners, acting out your song, type-casting, mic technique, and song dynamics. Students will be preparing one song for performance applying all of the above with Izetta's guidance, and another song "on their own" for peer feedback. Learn from this Musical Theatre veteran what exactly will make the difference at your next audition! You will perform with a live pianist on Saturday, August 22, at the Mission City Roasting Co.
- Group lessons from 11 am to 2 pm every Monday and Wednesday between July 20 and August 17
- Max. 10 participants

- Cancellations between July 6 and July 12, 2009:
We will refund your course cost minus $135
- Cancellations between July 13 and July 19, 2009:
We will refund 50% of the course cost.
- Cancellations on or after July 20, 2009: No refund
